BlogCatalog says my blog post is spam. So, honesty is not recommended??

I recieved this in my email yesterday about a blog post in which I’m talking about The Phantom Link Cloaker and FirePow.

Blog submission Declined..

Your blog was declined for the following reason:

  • The URL you submitted is solely for commercial purposes, or is suspected to be spam.

I had recommended to my readers that they try FirePow out, since FirePow blogging software has a link cloaker built into it and you can do that for a dollar, and have get access to it for 14 days.

Now you should be applauding the guys at blogCatalog for keeping the internet free from spam, but what about the truth?

I’m giving my honest opinion.

If I needed to cloak my links right now, I’d  get firePow and use the built in one.

What do they want me say?

That I’d spend money on a link cloaker when I could cloak my links with FirePow and if I don’t like using firePow get my money back?

You create a blog or a whole bunch of blogs which are all WordPress which means they survive even if you decided you don’t like your FirePow Blogging sopftware. If the worst comes to the worst, you are left with a whole bunch of links and BLOGS! Already cloaked which you could copy and paste if you decided you didn’t want to keep FirePow.

If you then tried The Phantom link Cloaker you’d have something to compare it to.

Look, by now you’ve probably realised that I’m an affiliate for both programs, bothThe Phantom link Cloaker and FirePow.

I have something to gain whichever you choose and more to gain if you were to get firePow, as it has a monthly subscription, so I could be biased for that reason but would it be worth it, if you get firePow and then never ever try anything else I recommend just because you were dissapointed?

No, it wouldn’t.

If I was short of cash I’d go for The Phantom Link Cloaker and I said that clearly, but why miss out on the chance to try what is a really cool “tool crammed” software that does more than just cloak your links.

I’m aiming at helping you automate your online business, and cloaking links is the only safe way to avoid being ripped off these days, and I want the best of everything, the best link cloaker out there, the best blogging software online, the best article marketing software the best spy tool anything I can afford that might help me get where I want to be… to give my very sorry old rear end the very best chance of surviving.

I respect BlogCatalog. They are an incredible resource for all of us online, and I’m glad that they screen all of the blogs to avoid spam, I’m all for that.

I just think that there is a clear line between spam and the best advice you can get…

I give you the truth. If it occaisionally sounds a bit spammy then that’s just the way it is.

I’m not about to pretend that I’d buy one thing when I’d try something else first.

It’s me I have to look at in the mirror.

I’ve asked them to reconsider including the post, cloaked links are essential these days, especially if you want to automate your online business. You don’t want to lose your commissions to some rip off merchant, but I’ll tell you what BlogCatalog say when they reply to my grumpy email.

Isn’t it wierd though to be challenged for being honest? As I said over on my other site Automate your Article Marketing Blog if you can give me a better piece of advice I’d like to hear it.

You cannot compare FirePow Blogging software, with Phantom Link Cloaker!

My reply to (Name withheld)

First of all, I mentioned this quite clearly in one of my earlier posts here.. FirePow   is “Blogging system”, and completely blows the phantom link cloaker and about a million other pieces of software, clean out of the water, as it’s more than just a link cloaker. It’s about making it so that you can create an automated income online from blogging more easily!

I’m not listing everything it does here over again, but you Check out FirePow for yourself.

The point that I was making was that for the money The Phantom Link Cloaker is just as good (apparently) at cloaking links. It’s just that FirePow Blogging software integrates loads of other things and cost’s more…

You think I shouldn’t have mentioned that?

I feel like everyone got a bit rattled because I didn’t make my point clear enough.

If I was starting out with little or no money I’d be buying The Phantom Link Cloaker and not FirePow because I remember what it’s like to have to save money.

It seems some of my readers are so busy being freakin’ guru’s that the little guy isn’t even qualifying as a distant memory. You my friend use the old I was broke once story all the time…

Come on guys..

What are you thinking?

FirePow I couldn’t live without, but I’m not about about to pretend that it cannot be done the cheaper way.. most of us started out as poor as all hell and that is who you’re selling to, when you’re talkin’ newbie marketers.

Sure you want the Rolls Royce or the Frerrari option if you can afford it, but I’m not telling readers to go for it unless they can afford it. The Phantom Link Cloaker

I just suggested they get firepow because it’s on a good offer right now.

Think about it.

If they build a bunch of blogs and then cancel, the blogs are still servicable and they’ve had the benefit of having been promoted using FirePow promotion tools.

Once they try it it’ll be a case of “one day I’ll sign up for that again” you’re building your own future customers.

I tried firepow and couldn’t pay for it, I was so poor, I had to cancel, but it got me started and that was more important to me than just about anything.

They try the product, then love it.

Do you suggest that happens in some other order?

Lastly for your information, anyone is entitled to try FirePow, it’s on offer, you twit.

Anyone who tries it gets to keep the bonuses. That’s how the offer works.I didn’t decide that on my own. It’s an official FP promotion to get people to give it a go.

Presumably, to generate more FirePow customers.

Don’t give me grief for encouraging people to be freebie seekers. I was broke and it wasn’t so long ago that I can’t remember it. Unlike some people.

If you’re broke take the $1 FirePow trial offer and cancel if you must… at least you’ll get the bonuses and will be able to measure The Phantom Link Cloaker up against something.

There’s nothing wrong with doing that if you think you’d like to be a firepow customer one day. There is no reason not to get it and no reason to give it a go.
